Make 5 Dozen Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12-oz pkg) chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (opt)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375oF.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat the butter, sugars and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.Preheat oven to 375oF.
